WITH THE RIPPLE REBELS
A BIT ABOUT US
Creating a ripple effect
Lynne Ruddick has been exploring open water for more than 25 years as a sailor, scuba diver, kite surfer, swimmer and paddler. She is a qualified British Canoeing Open Water SUP Instructor and RLSS Open Water Lifeguard. She also has the RYA Dayskipper Qualification.
Lynne is a nurse and currently works in social innovation, reducing inequalities in access to health and social care. She is passionate about the strength of the community in solving social problems and founded Ripple Rebels CIC for this very reason.
Ripple Rebels will provide opportunity and support to young people in care and families with low income to access SUP and all its physical and mental health benefits. The ripple effect of this action will improve confidence, develop mentors and role models, and creat a strong community.
Our values are so aligned it made sense to partner with the ripple rebels so now we can offer SUP lessons and experiences with them.
Lynne has also set up a social enterprise called Lose Your Bottle to build a supportive tribe working towards reducing plastic dependency and would be happy to tell you all about it!
